A Not-So-Funny, Funny Dealer Story

I have a funny one for you. We sold a 2011 Equinox on Smart Auction for $22,500 to a dealership in North Carolina. The car gets there and they turn it down because of paint work, which we missed. We get the car back 2 weeks later and run it at the Auction. The car brings $23,200. The buyer was the same dealership in North Carolina. Their buyer rolls in with it and his boss says, “Hell we already owned that car once.”

We must have been living right.
